ABOUT US

Bob Gomolski

 

Robert (Bob) Gomolski is the Vice-President of RDG Construction Services, Inc., which targets value oriented projects for development and redevelopment. 

 

Bob is currently managing the development of Boulevard at Central Station, a $34.8 million mixed use development project with 167 residential units and over 26,000 square feet of commercial space in Tinley Park, Illinois that utilizes HUD financing. He recently completed the construction of a $28 million mixed use condominium project in Aurora, IL that included 96 residential condominiums above 46,000 square feet of retail space.

 

Construction has been Bob's passion for the past 30 plus years. Bob began in the construction industry as a framing carpenter. His career quickly moved forward to project management, turnaround and development. During the past twenty years, he has managed the construction of a number of major projects including apartments, condominiums, mixed-use projects, and luxury residential and retail developments throughout the greaterland Chicago area as well as in southwestern Michigan.

 

Bob and his family live in the south suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. He has been happily married for over 27 years and is the father of one son. The construction industry has been filled with hurdles over the years, which have shaped his ability to overcome obstacles and deliver results.

The Boulevard at Central Station, Tinley Park, IL; Owners Representative & Project Manager: Currently managing $34.8 Million Mixed-use 5 story building with 26,000 sq.ft. of commercial with 167 residential apartments. Total building sq.ft. = 345,500.

 

River Street Plaza, Aurora, IL; Owner Representative & Project Manager: $28 million mixed use development along the Fox River in Aurora. Consists of two buildings with a total of 46,000 sq.ft. of retail and restaurant space and 96 residential condominiums totaling 192,000 sq.ft.

 

Preserves, New Buffalo, MI; Owner Representative & Project Manager; Mixed-Use $18.5 million project; Scope: Four Buildings along Lake Michigan in New Buffalo, a mixed-use site with a total of 18,000 sq.ft. of retail, office and restaurant space. The residential unit space of 46 total units is 60,000sq.ft.

 

Prairie Lofts, Chicago, IL; Project Manager; Mixed-Use $16.5 Million; Scope: A loft conversion of the Atwell building, in the Prairie District of the south loop. This mixed- use conversion had a total of 8,000 sq.ft. of office and retail. The total residential unit space = 136,000 sq.ft plus indoor parking.

 

Prairie District Townhomes; Prairie and S. Calumet, Chicago IL; Project Manager: $16 million; Scope: Seven Buildings with a total of 56 townhomes, in the Prairie District of the south loop. This townhouse project of 56 residential units had a total of 168,000 sq.ft., each unit being four stories of living.

 

Prairie District High-Rise; 1700 S. Prairie, Chicago, IL; Owner Representative: $36 million; Scope: This twenty-two story building with 156 residential units including indoor parking has a total of 296,412 sq.ft of high-rise space located in the south loop.

 

Prairie District Townhomes; 18th St. and S. Calumet, Chicago IL; Project Manager; $6 million; Scope: Two Buildings with a total of 18 townhomes, in the Prairie District of the south loop totaling 54,000 sq.ft, with each of the units being four stories.

 

Commonwealth on Prairie condos and townhomes; Chicago, IL; Project Manager; $12.5 million; Scope: Five buildings with 21 condominiums and 26 townhomes, in the Prairie District of the south loop, with a total of 90,000 sq.ft.

 

Medical Office Building, Tinley Park, IL; Project Manager; $1.6 million; Scope: Single story building with a total of five doctors and 20 exam rooms. This project included all site development, and construction of building with full X-ray services and outpatient services.

 

6700 N. Kedzie, Chicago; Project Manager; $9.5 million; Scope: Site development located in the West Rogers Park neighborhood, starting at 4,500 - 10,000 square feet building sites. This includes all infrastructure and utilities.

 

1134 E. 49th St.; Chicago Project Manager; $5.5 million; Scope: Construction luxury homes, “The Mansions of Kenwood”, located in the Hyde Park/ Kenwood neighborhood, and consisting of approximately 6,300 square feet each. Included all site improvements and demo required.

 

4725 S. Drexel Blvd, Chicago; Project Manager; $4.5 million; Scope: Construction of single family row homes in the Hyde Park neighborhood of approximately 4,200 square feet each. Included all site improvements and demo required.

 

1717 Portage Run, Glenview, IL; Project Manager; $2 million; Scope: Full site improvement, including streets, water, sewer, wetland issues, and all site preparation for single family lots.

 

3535 N. Marshfield, Chicago IL; Project Manager; $1.5 million; Scope: Construction of custom single family home located in the Lakeview neighborhood containing approximately 5,000 square feet.

 

3141 N. Clifton, Chicago, IL; Project Manager $1.4 million; Scope: Oversaw all rehab stages of the new construction of a custom single family home located in the Lakeview neighborhood of approximately 5,000 square feet.

 

3058-62 N. Clybourn, Chicago, IL; Project Manager; $3.2 million; Scope: Construction of a mixed-use building consisting of two commercial spaces with elevator, and 6 residential condominiums above.

 

The Fair Grounds Development, Monee, IL; Project Manager; $2 million; Scope: Fully improve a 26 acre development for 96 residential home sites. Included all aspects of land development, from estimating, budgeting, mass grading, water, sewer, public utilities, curb, streets and pad ready building sites.

 

Mundo Construction, Frankfort, IL; Project Manager; $10’s of millions; Scope: Manage all aspects of construction of multi-family and single family homes. Included estimating, bidding, layout, staking, ordering all necessary material, and scheduling all trade activities. Managed all customer services activities.
